Reporting a scam call is easy. Here's how you do it on Android.

Scammers are peppering the mobile phones of Australians at an alarming rate. Their calls from a person or robotic caller claiming to be from a bank, government department or parcel delivery service are chronic and extremely annoying. Even worse, they sometimes succeed. That's why they keep coming.
The only solutions will come from efforts by our government and telecommunications companies. They need information to work with. So, the best thing we can do is report each scam call as it comes. It's not difficult and it's quick to do.
If you receive a phone call on Android, here are the instructions to make a report. First navigate to your calls list and select the number.
A small drop box will take you to a details screen. Press the information button, bottom right.

At the bottom of the details screen you will see a set of options. Select Report.

Select the type of report. Usually this will be 'Fraud'.

On the final screen, state a brief description and submit. This will automatically block the number, though that is unlikely to help. These are usually spoofed numbers, anyway. At least you'll have added the call to statistics to help the relevant authorities know the scale of the problem. They can pressure telecommunications providers to install technology capable of stopping these destructive nuisances.

Diligence is our friend in these types of matters.
